relatia time & billing faq
Who can benefit from Relatia Time and Billing?
A: Anyone who wants to track and invoice for labor,
deliverables, and expenses associated with the contacts and/or projects you’re
managing in your CRM applications.
Is Relatia the same as Relatia Time & Billing?
A: Relatia Time & Billing is a component of the Relatia
Software Suite.
It can be purchased separately or in conjunction with the other modules.
While using the entire suite provides maximum functionality, Relatia Time & Billing is a
richly-featured Time & Billing application right out of the box…all by
itself.
Where does Relatia Time & Billing store contact
information?
A: Relatia Time & Billing is revolutionary in that it works
in conjunction with your existing CRM application.
Instead of re-inventing the wheel, Relatia compliments powerful, off-the-shelf customer management
applications like GoldMine.
This way, companies using
Relatia get a truly three dimensional perspective on customer history that combines traditional sales and
marketing data with a robust set of service and billing details.
Which CRM Applications does Relatia Time & Billing
support?
Currently, Relatia Time & Billing supports GoldMine but
future versions are planned to support other CRM applications such as
SalesLogix, Siebel, Outlook, and ACT!.
If I buy Relatia Time & Billing as a stand-alone product
today, can I add other Relatia Modules later?
Absolutely!
All of Relatia’s modules are designed to work together, regardless of when they are purchased.
There is no difference between them when run as stand-alone modules or as a suite.
Does Relatia Time & Billing integrate with my accounting
package.
A: At this time, Relatia does not integrate with 3rd party
accounting packages, however links to Quickbooks, Great Plains, and other
industry-standard applications are being planned.
Do I have to have a CRM package before I can use
Relatia?
Yes, Relatia requires a valid contact database in order to
function (currently, GoldMine).
What is Relatia’s Metrics Console?
A: Relatia, in all of it’s modules, implements a sophisticated
reporting tool called the Metrics Console.
The Metrics Console is an Excel spreadsheet that automatically reports on various business-critical
statistics that are accumulated by daily product use.
Each of Relatia’s software modules adds various statistics to the Metrics Console as they are added to
your system.
How difficult is Relatia Time & Billing to
deploy/install?
A: Very easy, in fact, with GoldMine, most of the work is done
automatically through GoldSync.
My company has XX employees, will Relatia work for me?
Absolutely!
Relatia is designed for any size company, from the single user to the enterprise.
How can I buy Relatia?
Currently, Relatia Time & Billing is available for immediate
online purchase or available through one of our many Solutions Partners.
Relatia’s other modules are currently in development and have been scheduled for release at various times
during the next 12 months. When available, all of Relatia’s
modules will be available through
online purchase or authorized Relatia Solutions Partners.
Q: Can I get a demo?
A: For a fully-functioning trial version of Relatia Time &
Billing contact lindao@relatia.net.
(you must currently have GoldMine installed and running, if you would like a
demo copy of GoldMine, you can download one here).
What about remote users? What happens to their changes? Where
does all the data go?
Relatia stores it’s data in GoldMine’s contact database. By doing this, Relatia
will synchronize it’s records automatically when a user synchronizes their
GoldMine database. GoldMine when coupled with GoldSync allows for field level
synchronization using the internet, LAN, modem or e-mail.
Does synchronizing data from Relatia make GoldMine any more
complex to use?
No. Relatia does not change GoldMine’s synchronization feature. Relatia data is
automatically synchronized when GoldMine is synchronized
If I have a Relatia question, can I call GoldMine support?
Not at this time. Support is available from Relatia by calling 770 663 4455
Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Eastern Time).
